Some of the world's finest wines are composed of varietal blends. Learn the magic that winemakers use to create the greatest wines. Time to test your palate's, steady hands, and group interaction to discover which team can design the best custom flavors and win the "Art of the Blend." You will start your adventure at the Meritage Wine Cave where you will begin the process of blending a special wine. In this hands-on seminar, you'll play winemaker for the afternoon, exploring different blends with up to five classic varietals. Your groups will be divided up so that small teams can work together learning about the wines, the mixing process, the recipe, and mix quantities to give you your very special blend. The experts will review each of the team's submissions and select the winning blend that best matches the real wine produced by their vineyards. Following wine tasting, snacks will be served to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine. Enjoy this unique experience and the networking opportunity!
